This activity is for children, and adults, who receive artificial nutrition or long term IV treatments
Our activity day at Bowles Rocks, Tunbridge Wells, will be on the 27th June and will start at 9:00am
It’s a full day of activities!!
Activity Information
9am - Arrive
9:30- 11am - Rock climbing
11-12:30pm - Leap of Faith
12:30-1:30pm - A well earned lunch break!!
1:30- 3pm - Archery
3-4:30pm - Pool Kayaking
5pm - End of the day
Important info:
Minimum age: 7 years (please email me if a younger child wants to participate)
Due to the variety of activities, this adventure day is not suitable for full time wheelchair users.
Activity Info:
Rock climbing - Bowles has its own natural rock face onsite with hundreds of routes and climbs. Whether you have done rock climbing before at an indoor wall or this is your first time, Bowles rocks will be able to provide you with experience to last a lifetime.
Leap of Faith - The aim of Leap of Faith is to climb as high up a free standing pole. At the top of the pole there is an chance to ‘Leap off’ and grab a trapeze bar that is hanging in mid-air.
Archery - Archery is an activity that requires resilience and determination.
Pool Kayaking - This will take place in a heated pool, indoors. They have a range of boats for all ages and abilities. No experience is needed.
Price:
The cost of each FEAR child/FEAR adult (the individual receiving artificial nutrition or IV treatments) to experience both activities is: £12
The cost of any accompanying child, or adult, to experience both activities is: £15
